The Hallé tours China in July 2016, with programmes celebrating the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death.
The first time that a visiting orchestra will perform Walton’s complete Henry V in China, set alongside orchestral works by Nicolai, Berlioz and Dvorak, all inspired by Shakespeare’s plays.
