  • In the choices it makes for its concert programmes, B'Rock combines established works by baroque composers with the lesser-known repertoire of the 17th and 18th centuries. In addition, the orchestra pursues a bold and innovative programme policy with early and contemporary music. It focuses especially on giving first performances of new music. Early music in combination with theatre, visual art and/or video also form part of the orchestra's DNA.

B'Rock does not have one fixed conductor, but regularly engages prominent guest conductors and soloists such as René Jacobs, Ivor Bolton, Andreas Spering, Alexander Melnikov, Dmitry Sinkovsky, Bejun Mehta and many others.

The ensemble performs regularly at major concert halls and festivals such as Bozar, KlaraFestival, De Munt/La Monnaie, deSingel, Concertgebouw Bruges, MAfestival, BBC Proms, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Cité de la Musique in Paris, Kölner Philharmonie, Theater an der Wien, L’Auditori Barcelona, Holland Festival, Wiener Festwochen, Ruhrtriennale, Innsbrucker Festwochen der alten Musik, Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci, Styriarte, Wratislawia Cantans and Bergen International Festival.

B'Rock has developed structural partnerships with the Royal Opera De Munt/La Monnaie in Brussels, deSingel international arts campus in Antwerp, the Ruhrtriennale in the Ruhr region in Germany and the Opera de Rouen in France.

In 2018, B’Rock Orchestra is travelling to Hong Kong, Beijing and Seoul. Its first Russian and American tours are also planned for that year. Other highlights are The Happy Bach Festival in November, curated by B’Rock and coproduced by the Ghent Conservatory, and Bach’s Hohe Messe, conducted by Ivor Bolton, in May 2018.
