'Vocally full of power and passion, Pirgu is gripping in his quiet moments but when he needs to deliver full chest notes they come with room to spare and tone to die for.'

London Unattached, January 2024

'Saimir Pirgu is a Pinkerton in dazzling form: voice with remarkable ring, fascinating timbre, full-bodied centres and timbral high notes, phrasing, especially in Act III, nuanced'

The Musical Bee, September 2023

'Saimir Pirgu, was strong of voice but also a tremendous actor. Albanian tenor Pirgu has all the requisite strength, but also demonstrates a phenomenal high register. To have Pirgu was a treat indeed.'
