A disturbing and Lear-like character, his success owes as much to his acting as to his singing. It’s a performance that wouldn’t be out of place in any top theatre.

London-Unattached.com, June 2025

Christopher Purves is terrific in the title role. He is in vigorous, agile voice…this Falstaff could still be in his prime, and Purves sings and acts him with tremendous energy.

Seenandheard-international.com, April 2025

Purves is as compelling a communicator as ever, each morsel of text crystal clear
