Rana's 26/27 season sees her embark on high-profile tours of Europe and North America with the Staatskapelle Dresden and Daniele Gatti, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and Yannick Nézet-Séguin, and the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and Daniel Harding. Among her orchestral performances this season, Rana performs with the Orchester der Tonhalle Zürich, Munich Philharmonic, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, Cleveland Orchestra and New York Philharmonic. This season, she is celebrated as Artist-in-Residence with the Philharmonie Luxembourg and features as a Portrait Artist at the Konserthuset Stockholm.
As an acclaimed recitalist, Rana gives solo recitals at the world’s most prestigious venues and festivals. This 26/27 season, she tours a programme of Bach, Debussy, and Chopin across Europe, with appearances at venues including the Musikverein in Vienna, Barbican in London and Sala Verdi in Milan.
Beatrice Rana records exclusively for Warner Classics. Her most recent release in 2025 features a selection of Bach’s Keyboard Concertos, which she play-directs with the Amsterdam Sinfonietta. In 2023, her widely acclaimed album of Clara and Robert Schumann piano concertos was released with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and Yannick Nézet-Séguin. Rana released a landmark recording of Bach’s Goldberg Variations in 2017, which received international critical praise and earned her Female Artist of the Year at the Classic BRIT Awards.
Beatrice Rana attracted international attention after winning Second Prize and the Audience Award at the Van Cliburn competition in 2013. Prior to this, she won First Prize and all special prizes at the Concours musical international de Montréal in 2011, aged 18. Rana was born into a family of musicians and began learning the piano at age four. She studied under the guidance of Benedetto Lupo at the Nino Rota Conservatory of Music in Monopoli where she also pursued composition with Marco della Sciucca. She later continued her piano studies with Lupo at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia and Arie Vardi in Hannover. In 2017, Rana founded the chamber music festival Classiche Forme in her native town of Lecce, Puglia, which was awarded the Medal from Sergio Mattarella, the President of the Republic, in recognition of the cultural value it brings to the region. From 2026, she is announced as the Consulente Musicale of the Spoleto Festival dei Due Mondi.
