Elsewhere this season, Buialskyi makes his debut at Opernhaus Zürich as Angelotti in Tosca and at Florida Grand Opera as Leporello in Don Giovanni. He also sings Leporello among his many roles at Semperoper Dresden and appears in concert with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra to perform Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 conducted by Dinis Sousa.
Buialskyi made his debut at Semperoper Dresden as Bernardino in Benvenuto Cellini, with subsequent roles as part of the ensemble including Colline in La bohème, Masetto in Don Giovanni and Angelotti. As a member of the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, he appeared at the Metropolitan Opera in Idomeneo conducted by Manfred Honeck and Don Carlos conducted by Carlo Rizzi. Elsewhere, he sang Leporello in a new production of Don Giovanni at Opéra de Lille under Emmanuelle Haïm and Walter in Luisa Miller for Sarasota Opera and made his debut at the 2024 Salzburg Festival in a new Peter Sellars production of The Gambler.
In concert, Buialskyi has performed Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 at Carnegie Hall with the Orchestra for Ukraine under Christoph Eschenbach, in Berlin and Warsaw with the Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra under Keri-Lynn Wilson, and with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra conducted by Manfred Honeck. He also sang Brander in La damnation de Faust with the RTVE Symphony Orchestra in Madrid.
Buialskyi has distinguished himself through a number of competition successes, including the 2019 Moniuszko Competition and 2020 Tenor Viñas Competition. He was first recipient of the Brian Dickie Young Talent Award at the 2019 Neue Stimmen Competition. Buialskyi led the Metropolitan Opera Chorus and Orchestra in the Ukrainian National Anthem as part of 'A Concert for Ukraine', which has since been nominated for a Grammy.
