Highlights of the 2024/25 season include several Park’s American debut as Sparafucile Rigoletto at Sante Fe Opera, his role and house debut as Figaro Le nozze di Figaro at Korean National Opera, as well as his house and role debut as Gran Sacerdote Nabucco in concert for Opéra de Toulon. Over the summer, he made his role and festival debut as Mandarino Turandot at the Baltic Opera Festival (Keri-Lynn Wilson).
On the concert platform, Park makes his professional debut with the Korean National Symphony Orchestra in Verdi Requiem (Roberto Abbado) as well as his debut in Han-Na Chang’s Daejeon Grand Festival in recital. Next season, he makes his Chicago Symphony debut.
Park recently completed his second season as part of the Wiener Staatsoper’s Opernstudio where roles have included Walter Furst Guillaume Tell, Lodovico Otello, Sid La fanciulla del West, Fouquier-Tinville Andrea Chénier, Ein Schliesser Tosca, Hans Schwarz Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, and Second Soldier Salome. Other highlights include Ramfis Aida with Oper Gars Summer Festival as well as Talpa Il tabarro and Simone Gianni Schicchi with SNU Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Yun-Sung Chang.
Park trained at Seoul National University and continues his studies at Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien, studying with Attila Jun, Jennifer Larmore and Karlheinz Hanser.
