Highlights of the 2024/25 season include several Park’s American debut as Sparafucile Rigoletto at Sante Fe Opera, his role and house debut as Figaro Le nozze di Figaro at Korean National Opera, as well as his role debut as Gran Sacerdote Nabucco in concert for Opéra de Toulon. Over the summer, Park made his role and festival debut as Mandarino Turandot at the Baltic Opera Festival under the baton of Keri-Lynn Wilson. In upcoming seasons, Park makes his debuts with the Chicago Symphony as well as with Calgary Opera.
Park recently completed his second season as part of the Wiener Staatsoper’s Opernstudio where roles have included Walter Furst Guillaume Tell, Lodovico Otello, Sid La fanciulla del West, Fouquier-Tinville Andrea Chénier, Ein Schliesser Tosca, Hans Schwarz Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, and Second soldier Salome.
Other highlights include Ramfis Aida with Oper Gars Summer Festival as well as Talpa Il tabarro and Simone Gianni Schicchi with SNU Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Yun-Sung Chang.
Park trained at Seoul National University and continues his studies at Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien, studying with Attila Jun, Jennifer Larmore and Karlheinz Hanser.
