In the 2026/27 season, Boecker makes a debut as the title role in a new production of Cavalli’s La Calisto directed by Stefan Herheim with the Theater an der Wien, reprising the role shortly thereafter with the Deutsche Staatsoper Unter den Linden. She also makes a house & role debut as Leonore in Krzysztof Warlikowski’s new production of Beethoven’s Fidelio for Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, and returns to the Bayerische Staatsoper as Donna Anna Don Giovanni and as Mary Stuart in Brett Dean’s Of One Blood, following its recent world premiere.
As the Artist in Residence for the Konzerthaus Berlin, Boecker joins the Konzerthausorchester for a series of concerts throughout the season, performing operatic excerpts from works by Berg, Beethoven & Dvořák (Oscar Jockel), Strauss orchestral songs (Iván Fischer), as well as concert arias & cantatas by Mozart & Marianna Martines (Ton Koopman). Additionally, she performs Britten’s Les Illuminations (Sayako Kusaka) with the Konzerthaus Kammerorchester and appears in recital alongside Sarah Tysman.
During the previous season, Boecker starred in a string of new productions and made several significant debuts. She created the role of Mary Stuart in the world premiere of Brett Dean’s Of One Blood (Vladimir Jurowski) for the Bayerische Staatsoper, made a debut as the title role in Janáček’s Cunning Little Vixen (Sir Simon Rattle) with the Deutsche Staatsoper Unter den Linden, and starred as Donna Anna Don Giovanni (Vladimir Jurowski) with the Bayerische Staatsoper. Boecker appeared in Staatsoper Hamburg’s opening production as the title role in a staged version of Schumann’s Das Paradies und die Peri (Omer Meir Wellber), returning later also to star as Die Frau in Tobias Kratzer’s triple bill Frauenliebe und -sterben.
On the concert platform, Boecker has appeared with the Wiener Symphoniker several times over recent seasons, singing the title role in Schumann’s Das Paradies und die Peri (Petr Popelka), Schoenberg’s Gurrelieder (Petr Popelka) & Brahms’s Ein deutsches Requiem (Dima Slobodeniouk). Other recent concert highlights include Mahler’s Symphony no. 4 with Orquesta y Coro Nacionales de España (Cornelius Meister), Beethoven’s Symphony no. 9 with Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal (Rafael Payare) and with the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin (Vasily Petrenko), Mahler’s Symphony no. 2 with the Robert Schumann Philharmonie Chemnitz (Benjamin Reiners), Orff’s Carmina Burana with Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse (Diego Ceretta), Agnès Written on Skin (George Benjamin) in concert with the Stavanger Symphony, Zemlinsky’s Lyric Symphony (Hannu Lintu) with the Finnish National Opera Orchestra, Reimann’s Mignon with the Vogler Quartet at the Konzerthaus Berlin, Mendelssohn’s Paulus with Symphonieorchester Voralberg, and performances at the Wiener Konzerthaus, Kölner Philharmonie, Kulturpalast Dresden, Stuttgart Philharmonie and Musikverein Wien.
Recent operatic highlights include significant roles debuts such as the title role in Strauss’s Daphne in Romeo Castellucci’s production at the Deutsche Staatsoper, the title role in Berg’s Lulu & Dorotka in Tobias Kratzer’s production of Schwanda der Dudelsackpfeifer at Theater an der Wien, Nadja in the premier of Haas’s Bluthaus at the Bayerische Staatsoper directed by Claus Guth, as well as Fusako Kuroda in Henze’s Das verratene Meer at the Wiener Staatsoper, which was also released on DVD.
Previously Boecker has performed La Princesse Eudoxie La Juive for the Bayerische Staatsoper, Gilda Rigoletto, Nanetta Falstaff and Adele Die Fledermaus for the Wiener Staatsoper, Agnès Written on Skin for the Bolshoi Theater, Autonoe The Bassarids for the Salzburg Festspiele & Natalie Prinz von Homburg in Stuttgart, alongside her many roles for the Komische Oper Berlin which have included Donna Anna Don Giovanni, Pamina Die Zauberflöte & Violetta La traviata. Boecker is a former ensemble member of the Wiener Staatsoper and continued her collaboration in the 2022/23 season with Calixto Bieto’s staging of Das Klagende Lied, as the Daughter in Hindemith’s Cardillac, and as Sophie in performances of Der Rosenkavalier.
