During the 2025/26 season, Buialskyi’s many roles in Dresden include Colline in La boheme, Angelotti in Tosca and Masetto in Don Giovanni. Engagements elsewhere have included Leporello in a new production of Don Giovanni with the Opéra de Lille conducted by Emmanuelle Haïm, Walter in Luisa Miller for the Sarasota Opera and his debut with the Salzburg Festival in a new Peter Sellars production of The Gambler. In concert he has performed Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Brander in La damnation de Faust with the RTVE Symphony Orchestra Madrid and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 at Carnegie Hall with the Orchestra for Ukraine conducted by Christoph Eschenbach.
Buialskyi has distinguished himself through a number of competition successes, including the 2019 Moniuszko Competition and 2020 Tenor Viñas Competition. He was first recipient of the Brian Dickie Young Talent Award at the 2019 Neue Stimmen Competition and is an alumnus of the Salzburg Festival Young Singers Project. Buialskyi led the Metropolitan Opera Chorus and Orchestra in the Ukrainian National Anthem as part of 'A Concert for Ukraine', which has since been nominated for a Grammy.
Despite his young age, Buialskyi possesses a voice of remarkable maturity; artistically he performs with an unusual sincerity and a freshness of style that is ideally suited to Mozart and Rossini.
